You have won a prize. The prize has two options, and you can choose either (but not both). The first option is a year in Europe with a monthly stipend of $2000. The second option is 10 minutes on the moon. Which option do you select?

Adjusted for inflation, that monthly stipend is now $2500. Neither amount makes or breaks the deal for me, I was just curious. While a lunar visit is a unique and rare opportunity, I just couldn’t pass up the chance to spend a year in Europe seeing all there is to see. Which makes me wonder, why have I not yet done that?
