I’ve recently started rereading Chuck Klosterman’s “Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs” — a collection of witty pop-culture essays. As it was published in the early 2000s, it’s a bit dated (he talks about Pam Anderson when the relevant example would probably be Kim Kardashian), but it’s still a fun read, somehow achieving the attributes of being both superficial and poignant.

Halfway through the book, Klosterman has wedged in a collection of questions, titled “The twenty-three questions I ask everybody I meet in order to decide if I can really love them” (his emphasis, not mine). I thought it might be fun to answer some of these questions in my blog over the coming weeks, so you'll see them peppered throughout.
