As I’m sure you’ve noticed by now, my website has had a complete design overhaul, and I’ve added some new photos.

I’ve gotten a lot of (wonderfully kind) comments on the use of partial face photos, and while I’m certainly not the first to use this tactic, I am totally going to take credit for what I am now calling it — “implied face.” A happy compromise for my former turmoil over my internal faceless feminism debate.

As it stands, the best way to avoid facial recognition is to obscure the eyes, so while they are one of my best features, for now, I shall continue to avert eye contact with the camera.
